| How do I transfer United Mileage Plus miles? |
 | The United Mileage Plus Transfer Miles Program is an online program which allows Mileage Plus members to transfer their miles from one Mileage Plus account to any other Mileage Plus account. In order to transfer miles, you simply need to know the recipients' Mileage Plus account number and e-mail address. To begin a transaction, complete the transfer miles order form. When prompted, enter the e-mail address and Mileage Plus account number of the individual(s) to whom you wish to transfer your miles. Miles can be transferred in increments of 1,000 miles, with a minimum transfer of 5,000 miles per account, to up to 3 recipients, and are applicable for all Mileage Plus awards. During a single calendar year, a member may receive up to 15,000 miles and may transfer up to 60,000 miles from his/her account. All mileage transfers are final and cannot be reversed.

| How does the recipient receive the miles? |
| The transferred Mileage Plus miles will automatically be deposited into the Mileage Plus account you identified within 48 hours. The recipient will receive an e-mail notification of the transfer. |
| How much does the transfer of Mileage Plus miles cost? |
| There is a cost of US $0.015 per mile (includes applicable taxes), plus a US $35 transaction fee. The order can be charged to a valid participating credit card. A member may transfer miles to a maximum of three people in one transaction. The transfer of miles to one or more persons in one transaction will incur the processing fee only once. Once a mileage transfer is requested, all fees are non-refundable. |
| How many transferred Mileage Plus miles may an individual receive? |
| A member may receive a maximum of 15,000 transferred miles from any other Mileage Plus account or accounts per calendar year. Miles can only be transferred in increments of 1,000 with a minimum of 5,000 miles per account. The 15,000-mile maximum does not affect the number of purchased Buy/Gift miles that an individual may receive in his/her Mileage Plus account per calendar year. |

| A maximum of 60,000 miles may be transferred out of any Mileage Plus account per calendar year. There is a limit of three (3) transfers per transaction. |
| May I transfer Mileage Plus miles without knowing the recipient's Mileage Plus account number and e-mail address? |
| No. For security and auditing purposes, we require that you provide both the e-mail address and Mileage Plus account number of any individual to whom you are transferring your Mileage Plus miles. Both you and the recipient will receive e-mail notifications of your transfer, listing you as the person who transferred the miles. When you provide the e-mail address of an individual to whom you are transferring your Mileage Plus miles, Mileage Plus will send an e-mail to that individual that will include information about the transferred miles along with your name, e-mail address and you grant to Mileage Plus or its agents consent to use your name and e-mail address for the purpose of sending such e-mail to the individual to whom you are transferring your Mileage Plus miles. |
| What if the recipient has already reached the 15,000-mile per year maximum? |
| In the event you try to transfer Mileage Plus miles to an account that has already received 15,000 miles from the Mileage Plus Transfer Mile program during the same calendar year, the system will automatically verify the number of miles eligible to be transferred and provide you with an error message, voiding that part of your transfer. |
| How can my recipient enroll in Mileage Plus? |
| The United Mileage Plus Transfer Miles Program is an online program which allows Mileage Plus members to transfer their miles from one Mileage Plus account to any other Mileage Plus account. In order to transfer miles, an intended recipient needs to enroll in the Mileage Plus Program and provide you with his or her Mileage Plus account number and e-mail address. Your recipient can enroll in United Mileage Plus online at www.united.com/joinmp and immediately receive a Mileage Plus account number. It's free to join. |
| Do transferred miles help my recipient or me qualify for Mileage Plus Premier status? |
| No. Transferred Mileage Plus miles do not count toward elite status qualification. |

| Yes. We strongly believe in the preservation of your privacy. The information you provide is used solely to complete the mileage transfer process and will not opt you into further United communications, be shared or be sold to another party. You will, however, receive confirmation e-mails as a result of your mileage transfer. |
